This one gives only a website address which is-"Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron are going around the world, telling people that they cannot be saved unless they try really hard to stop sinning (what they errantly define as repentance). Yet, Kirk Cameron admits that he is still a part of Hollywood (a proven cesspool of iniquity and heathendom). Kirk Cameron is a poster boy for the cesspool of Hollywood, trying to make it look like Hollywood has a good side to it; but there's nothing good about Hollywood. If either of these imposters truly preached against the wickedness of Hollywood, they wouldn't be welcomed there anymore. Hollywood is a spiritually rat infested, whore-mongering, dung heap of smut and homosexuals. Hollywood is homosexual to the core! Lot pitched his tent toward Sodom in Genesis 13:12 and then moved to Sodom in Genesis 14:12, which is the equivalent of Hollywood today. Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort have a false conception of what it means to "repent." Here is what the Bible really teaches about repentance. Cameron and Comfort errantly teach that in order to be saved, a person must try really hard to stop sinning (which they define as repentance). Christians need to stop getting their theology from Hollywood actors, cartoon artists and Freemasons. WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURE? The Bible speaks plainly in Romans 4:5, "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." That's what saith the Scripture! How much clearer could the Word of God be... but to him that WORKETH NOT... HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! You don't have to give up any sin to be saved except unbelief! If you admit your guilt of sin before God (Romans 3:19), and trust upon Jesus that He is the Christ, the Son of God (John 20:31), then you will be forgiven and saved by God (Romans 10:13). As much as Ray Comfort quotes Charles H. Spurgeon in THE EVIDENCE BIBLE, he missed this quote by Charles Spurgeon exposing the LIE of Lordship Salvation. I agree with their airplane and parachute scenario[1] that they commonly teach. I agree the the Law needs to be used as a teacher to bring men to Christ for salvation. Ray Comfort and his faithful sidekick, Kirk Cameron are correct in all of their teachings on the necessity of the Law in salvation. That is Biblical. HOWEVER, I totally disagree and am diametrically opposed to the doctrine that a person cannot be saved unless they try really hard to stop sinning and surrender their life to Christ for salvation. That's the lie of the Devil that Dr. John MacArthur has popularized. The Bible teaches that Eternal life is a free gift, paid in full by the precious literal blood of Jesus Christ (1st Peter 1:18-19; Revelation 1:5).page 1197 of THE EVIDENCE BIBLE, Ray Comfort comments on Matthew 7:22,23... "These are perhaps the most frightening verses in the Bible. Vast multitudes of professing Christians fit into the category spoken of here. They call Jesus 'Lord,' but they practice lawlessness. They profess faith in Jesus, but have no regard for the divine law. They tell 'fibs' or 'white' lies, take things that belong to others, have a roaming eye for the opposite sex, etc. They are liars, thieves, and adulterers at heart, who will be cast from the gates of heaven into the jaws of hell." If a person must try really hard to stop sinning to be saved, then salvation becomes a reward, instead of a free gift that one's simply receives. Ray Comfort is a false prophet. How could Mr. Cameron say he's never had a desire to leave the cesspool of Hollywood? Who needs to repent? There's not a stinking sewer in America any more repulsive to the nostrils of God than Hollywood!!! Hollywood is synonymous with taking God's name in vain, homosexuality, lasciviousness, indifference, pedophilia, pride, adultery, lust, greed, violence, pornography, prostitution, booze, mocking God, and every other evil imaginable. They're all living for Satan, whether they realize it or not! And Kirk Cameron says he's never left Hollywood? James 4:4 warns, "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." Yet Kirk Cameron says he'd be willing to work with unsaved Hollywood producers, adulterous blasphemers who curse the name of Jesus Christ in every movie they make. Apostasy! No Christian should ever yoke up with unbelievers (2nd Corinthians 6:14-17). This is what is wrong with so many evangelicals today, like Billy Graham who is unequally yoked with the blasphemous Catholic Church. The Catholic Church is straight out of the pits of Hell; but you'll never hear that from most evangelicals like Ray Comfort! Even Jack Van Impe has sold-out to the Mother of Harlots! Jack Van Impe boasts of having spent over 86,000 hours in Bible study! Maybe he ought to get his glasses checked, because he sure missed Mark 7:6-13 and Romans 10:3-4! It's all about the love of money as 1st Timothy 6:10 warns. Money ALWAYS changes people. Covetousness has destroyed more men of God than anything else. It destroyed Balaam in the Old Testament. Sellouts! (I have some exception in comment)* What difference is there between the mumbo-jumbo which Billy Graham teaches, and the basic doctrines of the Catholic Church? Catholics believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again! In fact, Lordship Salvationists teach the exact same view of being born-again as do the unsaved Catholics. Catholics believe in Jesus' deity, virgin birth, sinless life, and the necessity of Christ's blood sacrifice; BUT, tragically, they're all going to Hellfire because they've ADDED self-righteousness to faith. When we witness to lost sinners, we need to let them know that that Biblical Gospel EXCLUDES all forms of good works, water baptism, the Eucharist (holy mass), the sacraments, dedication, devotion to God, commitment to Christ, turning over a new leaf, chanting the Rosary, church membership, confessing to a priest, generosity, supporting a ministry, forsaking one's sins, et cetera. If you ADD even one of these things to your faith, then you WILL go to Hellfire in your self-righteousness! (this is not exactly true, Catholic people are lost because they worship idols such as "St. Mary") (Catholic Christians do not live sent free, they go to confession) Sadly, Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron have ADDED their own requirements to God's plan of salvation, requiring people to try really hard to stop sinning to be saved. This is known as the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation; which teaches that a person must surrender their life to Christ, make a full commitment to live anew, and break off all sinful bad habits immediately in order to be saved. In effect, you are saving yourself. This is a dangerous false gospel which has crept in unawares (Jude 1:4; Titus 1:10-13) into our churches. The New Age Movement is based upon feelings and experiences; rather than upon the promise (Titus 1:2) and miracle (power) of God's salvation (John 1:12-13), which is by faith alone in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). Lordship Salvationists all pervert the Gospel message, requiring sinners to stop living in their sins to be saved. The problem is that they misinterpret the Biblical word "repent." Many false teachers today are saying that "repent" in the Bible means "to forsake one's sins." Nothing could be further from the Truth of God's Word. In Mark 1:15 Jesus said, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." The word repent here is the Greek METANOEO, meaning "to change one's mind." When a person realizes that they're a GUILTY sinner under the condemnation of God's Law and deserving of Hellfire, and then that person believes on the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness-they are saved eternally. John Calvin (1509-1564) taught a heresy called the PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS, which taught that if a person is truly saved they will continue in holy living, surrendering their life to Christ, and departing from sin and the world; thus, this becomes a REQUIREMENT to be saved in Calvinism. This is EXACTLY what Lordship Salvation teaches today (it is Calvinism). It is a false gospel. Kirk Cameron is Popular With the World-Don't think for a second that Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron aren't part of the same corrupt and wicked system as Max Lucado, Joel Osteen, Pat Robertson and all the other fakes and con-men like Benny Hinn. Any evangelist or pastor who supports a one World Government and the apostate Ecumenical Movement (the let's all lay aside our Bibles and get along crowd), goes straight to the top in popularity. Joyce Meyer is on the New York Times Bestseller List because she is part of the New World Order, uniting religious faiths of all walks of life into ONE. Joyce Meyer's stated mission is to teach unsaved people how to enjoy life using Scriptural principles. There's a reason why they're so popular on mainstream television. You don't see any Independent Fundamental Baptist preachers being invited on television. That's because such preachers proclaims THE TRUTH. Kirk Cameron is wishy-washy, a fence-straddler, trying to play both sides of the street. He needs to LEAVE the hellhole of Hollywood. Kirk Cameron is nothing more than a poster boy to cover for Hollywood's wickedness. They exploit him and use him to show that Hollywood has SOME GOOD to it. Let me tell you, Hollywood is HOMOSEXUAL TO THE CORE!!! There is NO GOOD in Hollywood! They ought to rename some places on the west coast to HollyWEIRD, San FranSICKO and CaliFORNICATION!!! In the satanic mindset of Lordship Salvationists (who are all heretical Calvinists), salvation is not as easy as simply placing your faith in Jesus Christ. They believe that a drastic transformation must take place, that causes a person to dedicate their entire life to serving God and departing from sin and the world. The problem is that by requiring this change as part of the ROOT of saving faith, the gospel is perverted into a works-based false gospel, that is, ANOTHER GOSPEL. Paul Washer, Kirk Cameron, John MacArthur and Ray Comfort all falsely claim to believe in salvation by grace. They certainly do not. The Calvinist doctrine of the "Perseverance of the Saints" is essentially "Lordship Salvation." Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron, Paul Washer, Pat Robertson, John MacArthur and countless others, have their own little Lordship Salvation click, influencing hundreds-of-millions of people for Satan with a Roman Catholic false gospel of works. However, the Bible warns that though hand-join-in-hand and the wicked unite together against the Lord, God will PUNISH them... Proverb 16:5, "Everyone that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand joins in hand, he shall not be unpunished." It doesn't matter if the entire world pats you on the back, agrees with you, and says you're doing the right thing; God will be the final and only Judge of humanity (Romans 14:12; Matthew 12:36; 2nd Corinthians 5:9-11; Galatians 4:12; 5:9; 1st Thessalonians 4:6; Romans 12:19). The bottom line is that all the aforementioned men who teach the false doctrine of Lordship Salvation are perverting the free-grace view of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are corrupting the simplicity that is in Christ. They are prophets for hire, all making money off the ministry. His message is subtle, identical to the heresy of Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron and John MacArthur; but they all in essence teach the same thing-Lordship Salvation. Paul Washer has appeared on WAY OF THE MASTER to be interviewed by Kirk Cameron. They're all heretical Calvinists. Paul Washer actually gave a sermon titled "DECLARING WAR ON THE SINNER'S PRAYER." In the video Washer claims that the sinner's prayer has sent more people to Hell than anything else. Washer even goes as far as to refer to the sinner's prayer as "the idolatry of decisionism" at 3:59 in the video. The following is an excerpt from a popular demonic message Paul Washer gave about the "alter call." At 09:26 in the video Paul Washer foolishly states... But let's say that a person comes forward or a person is out there with us in a park somewhere and they say, "Yes, I believe, I believe he saved me today." You should say, "Praise God!" But then, then, you should say, "Now listen to me very clearly. If you have indeed repented of your sins and believed, God has saved you; but the evidence that you have truly repented and believed unto salvation is that you will continue repenting and believing, and God and His Christ will become dear to you, and you will begin to walk and to grow. Yes it will be a struggle and sometimes you will fail, but over the course of your life you will begin to grow in holiness, and holiness, you will grow in holiness without which no man will see the Lord. The evidence that you are truly converted today is that you will continue on. If only most of the Americans had been told that, they would not be resting in false security today. A changed life is the fruit of genuine repentance; not a part of saving-faith, nor a requirement to seal one's salvation. Jesus taught that a man must be born-again to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (John 3:3-7). The Lord compared this spiritual birth to the physical birth. When a child is born into this world, he or she grows as a result of that birth. The growing process is NOT necessary for the birth to take place. Likewise, growing in holiness is NOT necessary to be born-again. Whether a believer grows or continues in the Lord is totally irrelevant to salvation itself. Just as a babe in the womb has absolutely no control over it's birth, neither does a sinner have any control over God's salvation. The moment we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, we have done what God requires for salvation. Salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9). One's salvation is based upon Christ's imputed righteousness; and not upon our own self-righteousness in any way. Living a Consecrated Life Verses Saving Faith. Now if a person has genuinely repented unto salvation, then there should be a change in that person's life (2nd Corinthians 5:17); BUT the change comes AFTERWARDS, and not as a prerequisite to be saved as Lordship Salvationists teach. This is what James meant when he said, "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works" (James 2:18). Proponents of Lordship Salvation confuse the "fruit" of genuine repentance with the "root" of saving faith. James is speaking about the FRUIT of our Christian faith; not the ROOT, which Paul speaks of in Romans 4:3-5. In Genesis 15:6, Abraham was justified by FAITH in the eyes of God; BUT in Genesis 22, Abraham was justified by WORKS in the eyes of men when he offered up Isaac (James 2:21).
